Kurdistan Region’s readiness for confronting Cholera fever

 

today 9th September 2008 Dr. Zryan Othman, Health Mister of Kurdistan Region, accompanied with Dr. Sherko Abdullah, Head of Sulaimaniyah Health Directory met Sulaimaniyah Governor, Dana Ahmed Majeed

n the meeting which held in Sulaimaniyah Premises with attendance of the head of municipality , Aqua director, Mayor of Sulaimaniyah city and the related directories, Dr. Zryan talked about emerging this disease in the territory especially the southern and middle cities in Iraq and the surrounding countries.

 Meanwhile, Sulaimaniyah Governor considered the necessity of taking action against spreading this disease and reminded those committees which have been composed last year and still available.

In another part of his speech, the Governor talked about those120 water tankers which should be provided by KRG, but still not showed up, “Citizens should have their role in c eliminating this dangerous disease and assist us in preventing it” added the Governor.
