History

The number bone, which was in Zawi Chemi Schanadar (Shanidar), in which proximity the city Sulaimany in northern Iraq, excavated, is the proof that already around 8500 v. The modern city of Sulaimany was created 1784 by a Kurdish prince Ibrahim Pasha Baban . he named the new city " Sulaimany" equal to the name of his father " Sulaiman". he did the city later to the capital of his realm (baban).
